My 2008 Nissan stopped on me at Sonoma Raceway, got it towed, though it was my transmission, DAM 2,000 plus right, took it to AAMCO Transmission of Vallejo, explain the problem to the NICE Lady aka Kay Keller, I left received a call a little later she gave me a price, I was like DAM and you haven’t even gotten to the transmission. Long story short it was my battery cables and a sensor they replaced them, PROBLEM solved had nothing to do with the transmission. AAMCO Transmission of Vallejo Good Honest Service. God is Good. I have a 93 accord usually I dont use a shop to work on my own car but I was at a loss when I replaced my cv axels and transmission oil seal witch began to leak tired of working on my car out of curiosity I used my yelp app and found this AAMCO near by to get a quote to replace the seal I was surprised when I was told the price and proceeded to have them do the work with one problem,my work schedule wouldn’t allow me to get to the shop during business hours.they work’d with me to get my car in on my convenience..i finally got my car there and they called me around noon to tell me my car was finished so I picked it up that night i never saw them in person that’s what I call service.few days now no leak shifts like new…great job guys..
I phoned in and spoke with Kay who was warm and informative regarding the options to get my vehicle back on the road. I was a bit skeptical due to the negative reviews but they have new management and highly qualified mechanics now. They replaced my transmission and it’s running smoother than ever. Will definitely be back to have my car maintained. Thanks Kay and staff!
I thought I was going to need major work when our Avalon’s transmission started “slipping” getting on the freeway one morning. The folks at AAMCO in Vallejo checked everything out, and found the fluid was very dark. They said it just needed a regular Transmission Service. Less than $200, and the car is running great! Had to get a new transmission on a used car I bought about 3 weeks ago 2013 Ford Escape. I had an extended warranty on it so took it to Aamco. Had it towed there on a Friday. Called to make sure it got there, James called me back and went over the whole process of what would happen with the warranty I had. They are closed on the weekend so James called me back Monday to let me know I needed a new transmission and he would send all the info to the warranty company. I was informed my James on every step of the process and what would happen. I didn’t have to call and check up he was always on it letting me know. I called the warranty company to see when it would be shipped and they told me it would be there the next day. So I called James and told him. He already had the part and the mechanics were putting it in. He offered to swing by and get me on his test drive so I didn’t have to use a Lyft to get my car. On top of that he saved me money on the final cost. James and his crew went above and beyond to make sure I got my Ford back as soon as possible. Can’t say enough about the service I received from James. Highly recommend this Aamco!!! Never had such a good experience with taking my cars in before this. Thank you James and your team of mechanics!
